Quotation are hereby invited for the hiring of venue, decorations and catering for 250 people on 27 September 2023 as per specification to the Department of Public Works & Infrastructure. Specifications: 1. Venue to be in East London ( Beacon Bay) to be similar/equivalent to at Summit Lifestyle Beacon Bay, 2. Meals: Breakfast: • Welcome drinks and coffee, • Isibindi nomhlehlo (Liver with fat), • Ulusu (Sheep Tripe and Intestines), • Dombolo (Steamed bread) • Ginger beer drink, Starter: • African salad Umphokoqo with Amasi enkomo, (Maize meal with sour milk or butter milk), • Umfino (Maize meal cooked with cabbage and leafy greens), Dinner Full Buffet: • Umngqusho (Samp and sugar beans), • White samp, • Beef stew, • Umleqwa (Chicken), • Potatoes, • Chakalaka salad, • Pumkin, • Green veg (1), • One soft drink per person, 3. Equipment and Heritage theme appropriate: Decor: • Stage and podium, • Stage back drop heritage appropriate - to serve as back drop for guest speakers and photo booth after formalities inclusive of a wood and gold couch, • PA system services- inclusive of cordless microphones and onsite technician sound appropriate for 250 guests and serving both adjacent venues with equal quality, • Additional round tables, • Jugs of juice per table. • Chair cover and Heritage appropriate tie back on alternating chairs (including additional chairs), • Alternatively, black or white Phoenix chairs inclusive cushion, • Centre pieces including three leg black pots, calabash, wooden log disks, beads, filed grass pieces, shwe-shwe runners and variety of candle holders and candles to compliment the heritage theme, • Napkins, • Combination/mixture of thickly woven straw placements, wooden placements and disks to complement theme.
