Bids are hereby invited for the following: Provision of events management and equipment services at Rand Water Communication & Stakeholder Relations Division for a duration of 5 years. Scope: The successful service providers will be responsible for providing the following: • Venues or marquees to accommodate up to 3500 people. Specifications on the numbers will be different based on the event and the number of invitees - sometimes venues / marquees required may be to accommodate 200, 300, 400 or 600, 1000, 2000 and/or 3500 - so the service provider should be able to accommodate various venues / marquee sizes when required, • Venues / Marquees required must have sufficient or at least a minimum of six (6) air conditioners in summer, • Venues / Marquees required must have a minimum of six (6) heaters in winter, • Ordinary Tents, • Main Marquee with plastic chairs without covers, • VIP Marquee: tables and chairs with covers, • Flooring, • Engineering certificates, • Information Desk Marquee: table with plastic chairs, • Décor and stage set-up, • Catering: All foodstuffs are to be transported in a hygienic manner, or use of appropriate refrigerated trucks or vans. Preferably all meals are to be prepared within l0 km radius from site where meals would be served.
