Specifications: Superstructures comprise two types of insulated wall panels depending on the application. Wall Type 1 can be used externally and internally. It comprises two skins of chromadek sheets encapsulating a type FR Rockwool core. Wall Type 2 is used as an infill panel and comprises two skins of chromadek sheeting encapsulating an Expanded polystyrene core (EPS). These walls are type N and thus the total elevation area shall be constructed as a window or opening and the safety distances shall be applied. Foundations (sub-structures) are either conventional concrete rafts with thickened edge beams, light gauge steel chassis or suspended steel chassis. Foundations, including floors, are always a responsibility of a registered professional, competent engineer. Roofs are Standing Seam (SSR) panels and comprise two skins of chromadek sheeting encapsulating expanded polystyrene (EPS) core. Windows and doors are standard aluminum and are installed on site. Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a materials expert to conduct fit for purpose testing and assessment of foundation system for Agrément Certification. Specifications: The Pile Foundation System uses a steel pile group connected with a prefabricated steel pile cap to resist vertical (compression and uplift) and lateral loads. The system consists of a steel pile cap of thickness ranging from 4 mm to 10 mm and steel piles (circular hollow sections) of overall diameter of 42.4 mm, and thickness ranging from 2.5 mm to 4.0 mm. The base plates are drop forged and hot dip galvanized in accordance with SANS 121/ISO 1461. The pile foundation system can be applied to the following occupancy classes: A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, B1, B2, B3, C1, C2, D1, D2, D3, D4, E1, E2, E3, E4, F1, F2, F3, G1, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, J1, J2, J3 as stated in SANS 10400-A. The assessment should be based on applicable standards. The service provider is expected to make recommendations regarding the suitability of the product for Agrément certification. All tests shall either be witnessed by an authorized Agrément South Africa assessor and be conducted by a registered competent person. All test reports must: - Provide the full name, description and intended use of the product; - Provide a technical description of the product; - Detail results of every aspect of the test against the performance requirements; - Be dated and; - Be signed by the test officer and presented in pdf format.
