Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Inhouse-frontline staff development programme. The services of a skills development consultant and trainer are required to train & develop Johannesburg Water frontline staff/receptionist at various workstations. Scope: • Professionalism in receiving visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries; • Maintains employee and department directories as a guide for directing visitors; • Schedules meetings as well as appointments for customers; • Operates telephone switchboard, answers and transfers calls to appropriate departments and staff; • Apply appropriate telephone and cell phone etiquette; • Understand the concept of being tactful and friendly while dealing with customers (internal & external); • Understand and ability to be enthusiastic, respectful, and friendly; with a professional and welcoming presentation, and have a positive attitude; • Takes messages and communicates them to appropriate enquiries; • Handles outgoing mails; sorts and distributes incoming mails; • Responsible for placing outgoing calls and conference calls as needed; • Responsible for basic data entry as assigned; • Maintains and stocks basic office supplies; • Basic computer skills; • Understand the structure of the Company; • Understand the floor plan of the area responsible for and the location of other departments and Depots; • Responsible for operating and maintaining office machines, including printers and copiers. After appointed, the service provider will be required to prepare and deliver a practical guide that is user friendly containing all the relevant information required to assist frontline staff with their day-to-day tasks and duties.
