Bids are hereby invited for the appointment of service providers for the supply, delivery, installation and training of machinery, equipment and tools to identity Further Education and Training (FET) schools (Grade 10 - 12) within the four districts for the contractual duration of two (2) years viz: 2023/2024 and 2024/2025. Scope: The equipment, tools and machinery supplied will enable learners to: • Participate in classroom and workshop practical work related to technical subjects; An ability to solve technical problems by investigation, diagnosing, adjusting, removing, designing, developing, evaluating, manufacturing and applying the necessary skills; • Be afforded with opportunities for lifelong learning, self-development awareness of human rights and exposure to socio-economic and environmental injustices, access to latest international trends and innovations, an awareness of the process of globalization and including hand-on training approach; • Acquire a fundamental understanding of and ability to apply technical knowledge, skills and values, working as individual and as a group in a range of technical contexts; • Critically understand the interrelationship between technology, society, the economy and the environment. Technical subjects: Electrical technology: • Power systems; • Electronics; • Digital system. Civil technology: • Wood working; • Construction; • Plumbing (civil services).
