Addendum: Amendment to the Closing Date: The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) hereby invites service providers for inclusion on the SANRAL’S panel for Internal Audit Services for a period of three (3) years. Scope of work: The scope of Internal Audit activities encompasses, but is not limited to, the examination and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the SANRAL’s governance, risk management, and internal controls as well as the quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities to achieve the SANRAL’s stated goals and objectives: a) The scope of our work is to determine whether SANRAL’s risk management, control and governance processes are adequate, effective, efficient and functioning as intended to ensure: b) Operations and programs are executed consistently with established objectives; c) Risks are appropriately identified and managed; d) Control processes emphasize quality, efficiency and continuous improvement; e) Resources are used efficiently and effectively and are adequately protected; f) The integrity of significant financial, managerial and operational information is maintained and managed appropriately; and g) Employees comply with SANRAL’s policies, standards and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
