Scope: The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to obtain proposals from prospective independent service providers (Auditors) to conduct a post evaluation review and probity audit services to the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment (DFFE) for a period of thirty (30) days. The audit will include reviewing the following tenders: • T 003 - Appointment of the suitable Project Management companies to render Project Management Services to the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment for the Municipal cleaning programme within the nine (09) provinces in South Africa with 140 bids received and; • T 097 - Call for Proposals (CFP) from suitable investor(s) to Lease, Develop, Operate, Plan and Control Forestry Business Operations in the Western Cape Recommissioned Plantations for a maximum period of fifty (50) years with 5 bids received. The objective is to appoint an independent service provider to conduct a post evaluate review for project and conduct a probity audit and quality assure the compliance with the open tender process with procurement process from Bid specification to Bid evaluation stage and the Bid Evaluation Committee meetings in order to provide quality assurance whether procedures followed are consistent with appropriate regulations, instructions note, guidelines and best practice principles of openness and transparency for Project Ref: T003 and Project Ref T097 respectively.
