Addendum: Amendment to tender documents and extension of closing date: Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Provision of once-off geotechnical investigation for the redevelopment of Transnet’s NZASM Building in Pretoria. Specifications: Three dimensionally scanning both the interior and exterior of the NZASM building, including the parking area and the site. Producing the result of the scan in Black and White point cloud model. The following scope is required: a. Conduct a desk study to obtain information on the basic geology of the site and assess the general suitability for the proposed work; b. Undertake a site reconnaissance to gain geotechnical information from visible features, establish the suitability of various testing methods and investigate accessibility for equipment; c. Conduct a detailed geotechnical investigation which involves, amongst others, excavation of trial pits, sample recovery and laboratory testing; d. Setup benchmarks for construction sites, engineering systems, installations and other relevant engineering activities that requires survey services as per designs, drawings and/or works order.
