Re-advertisement: Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Provision of enumeration services. Scope of work: Enumeration services – 500m² plots including GPS points, qty: 2000 plots. Enumerations will be done at Msunduzi Plantation in Pietermaritzburg. Enumeration should be done according to KLF standard and procedures. The following enumerations will be done: • Pre-clear fell enumeration / Working Plan. The service provider needs to have the following equipment in order to conduct the enumerations: • Masser 2000EX calipers and the Masser Excallipers - to capture diameter (DBH) and height data electronically during the enumeration; • Vertex III - to measure the plot radius from centre, for tree height measurement and for slope measurement; • GPS - to load the plantation map as background, to capture the position of the plot centre and to navigate to the location of the plot. The contractor should quote a price per 500 m² plot to conduct the enumerations. The quoted price includes the mentioned items, e.g. equipment, accommodation, extra kilometers.
