Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of a facilitator to manage and lead Board Policy Workshop on 9-10 December 2025. Purpose: 1. The client seeks to appoint a suitably qualified service provider to provide services of a qualified facilitator to lead and report on the outcomes of the Board policy workshop, aimed at reviewing, aligning, and strengthening the organisation’s governance policies for Board oversight, 2. The workshop is to be held over 2 days (from 09 December 2025 to 10 December 2025) in Johannesburg (venue to be confirmed with the successful bidder). Pre-workshop: 1. Conduct a needs analysis with the Board Chair, Company Secretary, Executive Authority (if applicable), and Executives, 2. Review existing documents, including: • Board Charter, • Committee Charters, • Governance & Ethics Framework, • Risk & Compliance Framework, • Delegation of Authority (DoA), • Current policies scheduled for review, 3. Develop a Workshop Programme covering: • Objectives, • Expected outcomes, • Facilitated sessions, • Breakout activities, 4. Develop a Board Discussion Pack with key questions, benchmarking insights, and policy gaps, 5. Prepare a pre-reading pack for all participants. During the Workshop: 1. Facilitate discussions in a neutral, structured, and professional manner, 2. Provide governance insights, best practices, and legislative context (PFMA, Treasury Regulations, King IV, PAIA, POPIA, Companies Act where relevant), 3. Manage time, participation, and group dynamics, 4. Capture key inputs, resolutions, and recommendations, 5. Align discussions with entity strategy, combined assurance, risk appetite, and performance reporting. Post-Workshop: 1. Produce a Board Workshop Report including: • Key deliberations, • Agreed policy changes, • Areas requiring further research, • Recommendations, • Risks noted, 2. Provide a policy improvement roadmap with timelines and responsible owners, 3. Submit updated or redrafted policies (where included in the scope), 4. Produce the report to be presented to the Board or Audit/Risk Committee if required. The contract will be for a maximum period of 6 months. (EN) add to Favorites
