Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider for risk and retirement benefits for the client. Detailed Specification: The successful service provider will provide an independent, authorised financial services provision and expert advice and guidance in respect of risk and retirement benefits. The service provider will work closely with the internal Provident Fund Committee as well as the Human Resources unit in delivering the requisite services. Scope of Work: To guide and advise client and the internal Provident Fund Committee on matters pertaining to: - Choice of a Retirement Fund Administrator. - Review fund performance and provide advice on fund performance and investment choices, annually. - Support client employees on matters pertaining to financial literacy, retirement advice as well as all pertinent issues, including but not limited to fund withdrawals and payment of benefits. - Annual member information sessions to employees. - Provision of actuarial based advice to the internal Provident Fund Committee on the retirement fund products, as well as the associated risk benefit products, as and when required. - Provision of relevant training to client internal Provident Fund Committee members, initially, and thereafter annually, as well as when change in legislation/regulations and any other circumstances necessitate training. - To provide ongoing retirement fund and risk benefit education and communication to all client employees. - To assist all client employees with retirement and financial planning, including pre-retirement workshops. - To ensure that fund performance, administrative and risk benefit costs are compared to the market and reviewed, at least once annually, and provide client internal provident Committee with professional advice following the review (Annual Rebroke Exercise). - Facilitate annual meetings with client internal provident fund committee members including coordination and compiling of the agenda, meeting packs and minutes thereof - To provide quarterly reports on the performance of the retirement fund, as well as on an ad-hoc basis as and when required. - To provide timeous support and communication on employee claims, including retirement fund, risk and death claims. - To provide educational and advisory roadshows to all client employees, as and when required. - Easy to navigate and user-friendly online app. - Ensure that employee specific needs analysis in relation to retirement savings, risk benefits is conducted as and when required.
