         The contract relates to the implementation of the EU-ASEAN Green Initiative covered by the Commission Implementing Decision of 16 December 2021on the financing of the multiannual action plan in favour of the Asia region for 2021-2022. The overall objective of the initiative is to enhance the partnership between the European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in key areas of the European Green Deal. The purpose of the contract is to provide technical assistance to its implementation and to facilitate policy dialogue and capacity building in particular but not limited to the following areas:

         - Climate change;

         - Biodiversity, sustainable land use, forestry and oceans;

         - Sustainable food system;

         - Clean, affordable and secure energy.

         In addition, the contract will support coordination and visibility for the entire initiative. It will also provide support to the EU-ASEAN Green Team Europe Initiative (TEI) including coordination, monitoring and reporting.
