         Ampliar la planta a una capacidad de tratamiento de 500.000 habitantes (Etapa I), dejando prevista una futura ampliación (Etapa II) para llegar a una capacidad final total de tratamiento para 600.000 habitantes equivalentes

         Se diseña una única planta con un tratamiento biológico de lodos activos y que contenga una zona anóxica con recirculación secundaria para lograr la eliminación del nitrógeno. Se incorporará también el tratamiento primario y el tratamiento de lodos que consiste en espesamiento, flotación de lodos biológicos, digestión anaeróbica mesófilica y deshidratación.

         Se contempla la optimización de las unidades de tratamiento existentes, reduciendo la obra civil necesaria para la ampliación
