Extension of closing date: Tenders are hereby invited for the appointment of service provider to design, supply, deliver, install, commission and calibrate a crude oil sampling unit at the Saldanha Oil Jetty. Scope: • It is a turnkey installation. • Client requests the entire inline sampling system to be replaced. • The existing sampling system has two samplers sampling crude in both directions of flow, for import and export. Depending on the direction of flow, the sampler downstream of the mixer injector is used. • The auto-inline sampler should support both OTMS and client terminals. This is accomplished by connecting the flowmeter to a common line for both terminals. • Client requires a service provider to design, manufacture, install, commission and calibrate an automatic inline mixing and sampling system on the Saldanha Oil Jetty. Samples are to be taken both when importing crude oil and when exporting crude oil. In other words, the mixing and sampling system will have to make provision for sampling in two directions of flow and will be linked to the SCADA system on both terminals. The flow rate measurements determine the frequency of auto sampling via the control room wire link.
