Addendum: Extension of Closing Date and Amendment to Document: Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Provision of specialised Material Handling Equipment (MHE) fleet management services for a period of three (3) years. Scope of work: Fleet Management Services: • Provide quotations for FML and STR and MM requirements; • Responsible for ordering, full delivery and hand over of leased unit to Transnet at designated sites; • Provide full maintenance of leased asset for its life of the lease; • Provide MHE operators whenever needed at customer’s cost; • Provide efficient and effective Fleet Management System and Reporting (information, management and exception reporting); • Responsible for Proxy management; • Fitment of Tracking devices, wherever applicable, and providing tracking systems and the management reporting thereof; • Operator Default management in regard to the Fleet; • Induction for families training; • Accident repair management and accident reduction processes; • Ensure Client Liaison Officer for an Allocated Region in question; • Fuel Management/Fuel Technology Solution wherever needed; • Conduct physical vehicle audits; • Provide Technical Services and advice wherever applicable; • Equipment usage management and reporting; • Provided Transportation of leased and owned vehicles and equipment if needed; • Re-assessments of Individual Contracts should the FML Vehicle usage change from anticipated and agreed mileage; • First registration and annual licence renewals wherever necessary; • Fitment of Accessories to FML Vehicles to support operations at customers’ cost; • Transfer of ancillary equipment and Accessories from “old” to “new” FML Vehicles; • Annual Load testing of equipment as part of FML maintenance to be done by services provider as per Transnet Standards; • Equipment cleaning services regarding Equipment at the time of first delivery and following every service; • Have a 24/7/365 Call Centre with call logging (system generated reference number) and recording facility; • Have a 24/7/365 Breakdown Services in regard to the Fleet; • Conduct Quarterly restructures of over and under-utilized usage; • Ensure Certificate of Fitness (COF) requirements are met, wherever applicable; • Product training for MHE drivers and operators.
